Due to the leaking problem, we decided not to have an open house this year.
But Rafiq’s USM’s mates decided and informed Rafiq that they would like to have a deeparaya potluck at our house and "NO" is not an answer.
So I made fried macaroni and Rafiq bought satay. About 6 or 7 families came and brought kuih, kacang, biscuits, roast chicken. Since the guys reminisced of old days and completely forgot about their spouses, the spouses pun became chums :o) 
I’ve met most of them so it was fun for the spouses as well.
I took leave the next day so I tooj aunty Leela for er Deepavali shopping. Then I went to A’Che Spa at Plaza Damas to claim my birthday treat. I did the coffee bodyscrub and aromatheraphy body massage. It was soothing and very relaxing :o) Thanks, Ja & Arin. Sesapa nak try, please do so. A friend of mine went last week and she was indeed a satisfied customer.
