I Need A Moment To Deliberate

Today I had my statistics and research methodology exam and I sucked big time!! I just hope and pray to Allah Almighty that I’ll pass. Firstly takde masa nak blaja coz ada activities and also book review deadline. Pastuh nak dijadikan citer, semalam takde elektrik..adala dalam 1/2 jam kot. Reminded me of two incidents..one was when the whole Malaysia was out of electricity in September ‘92..it was a day before my Geography paper. Another was a day before Pure Maths A-Level exams kot. Sigh..

Anyways, need something to cheer me up and I thought of Dancing in a Moonlight.

Anyways, am feeling sleepy due to lack of sleep and rest so..good nite now..

SIDANG A!!!

It was indeed surreal!! I mean..we rehearsed at the very last moment and there’s always an actor or two missing, we only learned our cues two days before the competition, two actors were replaced and yet we won :o)

We also bagged the best actor (Black), actress (Shahidah) and best supporting actor (Siva) awards. WOW!!

I guess the happiest person is our director, Jimi. He worked damn hard to make it work. Loads of thanks to co-director cum stage manager (Wardah), choreographer (Bush) and the technical team. We indeed enjoyed our prize hamper in class this evening :o)

It’s been a while since I last blogged..me being busy with the 6 months course that I am attending. Time sure flies..it’s been three months since I started the course and now I am involved with this theatre production in which I am one of the casts. It’s a competition between my sidang (Sidang A) and Sidang B. Sidang B is going to do a bangsawan.

My Sidang’s theatre production is called Neraca Nyali. It’s a story about Budi, who is so much in love with Anggun who later dumps him coz he is not up to her standards in terms of wisdom, wealth and beauty. He is then brought before his own court of emotions where all things related to his relationship with Anggun come into place i.e. beauty, friends, wealth, wisdom and strength and fate. I will be playing Kebijaksanaan (wisdom) and Kekuatan (strength) is my twin. We play this Siamese twins who is so completely opposite each other. My fellow coursemate Siti Norhafizah @ Rotu is playing the role of Kekuatan. Other roles include Akal (the judge), Nafsu (the prosecutor), Hati (defence), and juries and not forgetting our graceful dancers.

It’s been fun practising for this theatre. I know I’ll miss it. Wish me luck. It’ll be sweeter if we win..hehehe :o)
